My promise to
My community
A short promise about how we treat each other and the place we live. Signing it costs you nothing and commits you to nothing else.
Beyond volunteering
More ways to take part.
Registering as a volunteer is the main thing we ask for, and it lives on the front page. These are the others: a day out with a bag, a promise, an idea, or a need of your own.
What’s on.
The quickest way in. No form to fill in about yourself, no ongoing commitment, just an hour or two.

Community clean-up
Join us as we come together to make our shared spaces cleaner and better for all. Park at the Engen garage (Steers) on Olievenhoutbosch Drive and start from there. We bring the bags. Nothing to fill in beforehand, just come.
Nothing dated at the moment
Dates come off this list the day after they pass. Registering as a volunteer is how you hear about the next one.
Register as a volunteerYour name.
The pledge runs alongside the work.
Your ideas.
You live, work or own property in Southdowns, Irene, Highveld, Technopark or Ecopark, so you see what needs fixing. Send us the idea, initiative or project you think would help. Residents, businesses and organisations can all use the same form.
Your need.
If you live here and need a hand, you can register that. We keep every request confidential and publish no personal information anywhere.
This initiative helps in kind. It does not consider requests for money, though it will refer a request on to other initiatives where it can.
